MBA Student Services
Listed below are offices at the SOM established to support students throughout their studies.
SOM Academic Program Office
The SOM Academic Programs Office is the liaison between SOM MBA students and UG Management students with the administrative and faculty offices at Simmons College. The SOM Academic Programs Office coordinates MBA orientation, MBA and UG Management class registration and scheduling, textbooks and case materials, academic advising, and MBA graduation.

The library has 5 computer workstations, 1 networked printer, 1 scanner, and a Bloomberg station with its own printer. See page 36 for more information on the SOM Library.

SOM Technology/Computer Lab
The SOM has wireless access in the Mockler Building at 451 Marlborough Street, with 25 laptops available for instructional purposes. In addition, there is a technology lab area with six computers, a laser-jet 8000 printer, a scanner, and a fax machine for student use; one computer and an Hewlett-Packard 2500 color printer in the student lounge which is also equipped with wireless access; and seven study rooms equipped with computers.
Each of the computers is equipped with Windows XP, Office XP suite, Sophos Anti-virus, SPSS, Internet Explorer, and graphics software like Adobe Creative Suite and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. These computers have CD-RW drives and USB ports available for USB Flash Memory sticks. In addition, each student has personal network storage space.

SOM Career Services Office (CSO)
The Career Services Office assists MBA students and SOM alumnae in their career planning and job searches. Throughout the year, the office schedules career-related programs and workshops and offers one-on-one coaching. In addition, the CSO offers these services:
- Coaching for career planning and strategizing
- Resume and cover letter advising
- Salary negotiation advising
- Company, industry, and functional information and research assistance
- Career Connect (online job database)
- CSO recruiting and networking events
- Career panels and guest speakers
- Alumnae network referral
- Referral to external events of interest to MBA students
