Residential Life
The Office of Residence Life
The Office of Residence Life, located on the second floor of the Health Center at 94 Pilgrim Road, fosters an environment on the Residence Campus that complements and supports the academic mission of Simmons College and encourages the personal growth and development of all resident students. The Residence Life staff is responsible for all aspects of residence life, including housing assignments and room changes, advisement of hall councils, coordination of ongoing educational and social events, the Residence Campus Judicial Board, summer housing, and providing general assistance to resident students. The Residence Life staff is committed to working with students toward building a safe and supportive community where residents are valued, respected, and celebrated for their diverse backgrounds.
Graduate and Dix Scholar Housing
Accommodations for graduate men and women and Dix Scholar women are available on the Residence Campus. A limited number of single and double occupancy rooms are available in this smoke-free environment for year-round residence. There is a separate charge for summer housing, and residents may be required to move to designated summer housing. Handicapped accessible rooms are also available. Priority is given to full-time students, but any student desiring campus housing is encouraged to apply. For further information, please contact the Office of Residence Life.
Graduate students living in the Simmons residence halls are expected to know and follow the Residence Campus guidelines outlined in the Student Handbook. You may find these guidelines and policies in the Standards of Conduct section of the Student Handbook.
