Family Orientation

Welcome to the Simmons family! We are delighted that your student has decided to attend the College and join the community this year. We know that you will continue to play an important role in your student's education, and we are committed to providing you with the resources and information you need to support her endeavors.

Family Orientation during Summer Orientation includes opportunities to learn about the academic program, campus services, and leadership opportunities available to your student. Family Orientation will take place on Saturday, August 30 immediately after the Opening Address, College Welcome, and Picnic.  While your student is meeting with her residence hall and with her Orientation group, you will have an opportunity to hear from College administrators and members of Parents Council about what to expect as a parent of a Simmons student.

We also hope that you will plan to join us for Simmons annual Family Weekend, which will take place October 17 - 19, 2008.
