Do I have to go through the Student Leadership Selection Process in order to be considered for one of the positions?

To be initially considered for the positions, yes, you must go through the Student Leadership Selection Process.

What is the difference between the group process interview and the individual interview?

The group process interview is a two-hour interview, during which you are observed working in small groups on various tasks. It is designed to be a fun way for you to express your leadership skills so that the observers can see how you communicate and collaborate.

The individual interview will give you time to talk more about the specific positions for which you are applying and ask questions about these positions.

Can I apply for multiple positions?

The student leadership selection process is designed to find the right students for each position. We actively encourage students to apply for all of the positions in which they are interested and would seriously consider participating. Feel free to find out more about the different leadership positions by talking to the contact for each position or to current student leaders.

We ask you to preference positions so that we know the level of your interest in each position and can assign the appropriate people for the interviews.

In your essay, please address all of the positions for which you are applying.
