International Multicultural Student Association
The International Multicultural Student Association strives to promote diversity throughout the college by educating the community about important multicultural issues that might not be well known across the campus but that do affect all of us in one way or another. We also celebrate festivals from all over the world through series of dances, lectures, and discussions.

Model United Nations
The National Model United Nations is to Provde an Opportunity to learn about international roganization, focusing specifically on the United Nations. Students participate in lectures, research, and discussion in preparation for varioius local, regional, and national programs. The group also provides political awareness to the Simmons community at large, trhough lectures and events including United Nations Awareness Week. One of the goals of the Simmons chapter of the Model UN is to educate our community on today's foreign affairs, as well as to promote our already strong international ties.

Organizacion Latina Americana (OLA) serves to educate and enrich both the Simmons and outside community by organizing events that represent the Latino/Hispanic community. This can be achieved through art, music, food, lectures, or other activities.

Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)
The purpose of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is to educate those interested in public relations and to gain PR and event planning experience. Activities include: annual Professional Panel, Fundraisers, an annual trip to New York City to network with professionals, a national conference as well as various other smaller events throughout the year. PRSSA is open to students of all majors who are interested in learning valuable communication skills.

Sidelines
Sidelines, the Simmons Literary magazine is published twice a year and features short stories, poems, photography, and graphic arts by the students. The magazine is edited by a student board which does everything from soliticiting student work, to deciding what goes in a given issue, to designing typeface and layout, to seeing the copy through the printing and binding process.

Sirens
The Sirens, founded in 1989, is the one and only a cappella group at Simmons College. We sing and perform popular songs and events a cappella style. We have two concerts a year, compete in national competitions, and make appearances at various functions around the college and outside venues. SPEAK is a non-partisan group commited to providing information around current social and political issues. members will work to raise awareness about legislation, the 2008 presidential election, & voter education. Students Take Action Now-Darfur (STAND)
Students Take Action Now for Darfur (STAND) is a student anti-genocide coalition with many chapters in High Schools and Colleges around the country. The objectives of the Simmons chapter are to increase conciousness about the presently occuring genocide in Darfur and to take non-partisan political action to end the crisis.
