MBTA Semester Student Passes
Now Accepting Orders for the Spring 2010 Semester T-Passes
We are now accepting orders for the Spring Semester T-Pass. The preferred method of ordering is online. You may order your T-pass on the secure website using a credit card or checking account. If you choose to order your T-pass by mail, please note that all orders must be received by Monday, January 4, 2010.T-passes will be available a few days prior to the beginning of each month at the Cashier's Window (W-207, 2nd Floor, Main College Building) or the School of Management MBA Office (for students in the School of Management).
One semester's worth of monthly MBTA passes may be ordered through the Office of Student Leadership and Activities at MCB-W002. Through this program, students receive four monthly passes at an 11% discount from the normal MBTA cost. The deadline set by the MBTA for purchasing fall passes (including September, October, November, and December) is usually in the first week of August and the deadline for purchasing spring passes (including February, March, April, and May) is usually in mid-January. Discounted passes are not available for sale on a monthly basis. Students who do not meet the deadline set by the MBTA for participating in the semester program should by passes directly from the MBTA if they decide they still need monthly passes.

Passes may be picked up starting in the week prior to the start of every month from the Cashier's window,
or, when specified on the order form, at the School of Management (this option is available only to
graduate students in the School of Management). If you have any questions about the T-Pass program, please

Frequently Asked Questions About the MBTA Pass Program
What forms of payment do you accept?
With mail-in order forms, we accept checks and money orders for MBTA passes.
We accept credit card payments through our secure payment server. To place a credit card order, please

Can I pay with cash?
If you wish to pay with cash, you should pay at the Cashier's Window on the 2nd floor of the Main College Building, the bring the receipt to the Office of Student Leadership and Activities, along with your order form.
Can I pay by Credit Card or with the Fenway Card?
You cannot pay by Fenway Card, but you CAN pay by credit card.
Can I turn my order form late?
The deadlines are set by the MBTA, and are very strict. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept late orders.
Where can I pick up my pass?
You can pick up your MBTA pass at the Cashier's Window (outside of Student Financial Services) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.; Graduate Students in the School of Management can elect to pick up their passes directly at the School of Management.
What sort of pass should I get?
We would advise you to figure out where you will be travelling most often. You may wish to check out the MBTA website for more information.
Should I get an MBTA Monthly Pass?
We advise students to determine how often they intend to travel on the "T" before purchasing a monthly pass. Those who use the "T" only a few times a week, may not need to purchase a pass. For example, students who will use the "T" less than 30 times in a month may actually save money by not purchasing a monthly pass. (30 trips on the MBTA at $1.70 each for four months is $204.00; the Link Pass costs $210.04)
Are discounted passes available during the summer months?
Unfortunately, the MBTA does not offer discounted passes during the summer.
