Biology Liaison

This liaison has been organized to represent the Biology program here at Simmons College, also to give those students who are interested in Biology insight to what is ahead in this interesting field. The liaison also hopes to bring information and learning to its members and all those who benefit from its activities.

Chemistry Physics Liaison

The mission of the Chemistry/Physics Liaison is to educate the Simmons College and Boston community with chemistry and physics awareness. The Chemistry/Physics Liaison also provides support to the Simmons College Chemistry and Physics departments.

Economics Liaison

The organization shall act as a major avenue for communications between faculty and students. The liaison is responsible for summarizing course evaluations and the faculty looks to the Liaison for general curriculum advice. The Liaison organizes social and educational events and is responsible for furthering the academic interest of individuals interested in Economics.

Management Liaison

To facilitate a relationship among management students and the faculty to create opportunities for students to develop skills valued in the workforce, and provide a place where students with a common interest can interact and participate in events.

Math/Computer Science Liaison

The purpose of the organization is to provide fellowship among math and computer science majors and to expose all students to the various areas of mathematics and computer science through guest speakers, math-orientated and computer-orientated programs, and other activities.

Nursing Liaison

The purpose is to further the interest of students in nursing and those interested in the profession. To collaborate with faculty, administration and other liaisons on matters concerning the student body.

Nutrition Liaison

The Nutrition Liaison will be a support and learning group in all aspects of the field of nutritional science. Activities will include informational meetings for the community, fundraising, guest speaker lectures, dinner outings, etc.

Pre-Med Liaison

The purpose of the Simmons Pre-Medical Liaison is to raise the awareness of the members, Simmons college community, and the Boston Community about health issues, such as local health policy, domestic and global health disparities, health care advocacy and to provide an outlet for its members to take action.  Members also benefit by developing leadership skills and receiving support from the group towards their medical goals.

Psychobiology Liaison

The purpose of the Psychobiology Liaison is to represent the students in this major and to link together the Psychology and Biology departments.

Transfer Students Liaison

The Transfer Student Assocation helps to acclimate new transfer students into the Simmons College community and acts as a liaison between the Admissions and Registrars Offices.
