Back Bay Manor Apartments
Back Bay Manor features spacious two bedroom units for four people. Each unit is approximately 1,150 square feet, spacious living/dining room, 1.5 bath, two large bedrooms, private terrace, generous closet space, modern kitchen with dishwasher, disposal, and gas cooking, and parquet wood floors. Internet/network connections are provided for every student, and each apartment is equipped with a cable jack (cable service is provided free).

If you have decided to live in Back Bay Manor, please be aware that you will be asked to follow Back Bay Manor policies in addition to Simmons College policies. Please review the following policies that significantly differ from Simmons so you may make an informed choice.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I do laundry? To do laundry, you must purchase a laundry card during office hours, for $5.00. The card does not come with any money on it. You will then go to the laundry room in the basement, and using paper money, put money on the card. At that point, you can use it to do a wash.
How do I place a service request? There are three ways to place a service request. You can go to the management office during working hours, and fill out a work order request. You can go to the concierge and fill out a work order request. You can go to the maintenance office between 6:30 and 2:30 and fill out a work order request. For after hour emergencies you can see the concierge or call 617-277-4856.
What are the gym policies? The gym is free and can be accessed by hitting the buzzer next to the door to gain access. The gym is open from 6am-10pm.
What is around the building? The "E" Line, Super Stop and Shop, several banks, Walgreens, restaurants, convenient store, etc.
How do I get to school? Walk north-east on St. Alphonsus St., Turn left onto Longwood Ave., Turn right onto Palace Rd. Simmons will be on this road on your left. Back Bay Manor is a 0.4 mile walk from campus.
