Housing Applications

Undergraduate Students

Incoming Students:  This year our 2008-2009 Undergraduate Housing Application is online! If you do not have regular access to the internet, you may request a paper copy of the housing application from the Admissions Office. There is a $250.00 housing deposit requirement for your residence application to be complete.  Please include your housing deposit with the tuition deposit you send to the Undergraduate Admissions Office.  The Office of Residence Life will not be able to consider your residence application until your housing deposit has been received by the Admissions Office.

Returning Undergraduate Students: Undergraduate students wishing to remain on campus will need to participate in the room selection process.  Students should visit the Housing Room Selection website for more details: http://web.simmons.edu/%7Ereslife. 

Commuter Students: Commuter students looking to live on campus for 2008-2009 should submit a Returning Student College Housing Application (above) to the Office of Residence Life.  Commuter Housing selection day wasWednesday, April 30, 2007 at 1:30pm.  Open rooms will be given away beginning at 1:30pm on that day on a 1st come 1st serve basis.  All students who turn in an application or interest form prior to April 30th will be emailed with an update on availability after prior room selections have been completed.

Graduate/Dix Students

Incoming Students: There is a $250.00 housing deposit requirement for your residence application to be complete.  Please include your housing deposit with the Graduate/Dix Residence Hall Housing Application.  Your $250 deposit reserves your space on the waiting list. All graduate housing will be assigned based on deposit date.

    All students must have a College Housing Application with them at Housing Room Selection.  Please print a copy of this application and bring it with you to the selection night with your Simmons ID.  Don't forget to read the 2008-2009 College Housing License Agreement!

Returning Students:  Graduate students and Dix Scholars wishing to remain in their rooms in North and South Halls will not need to participate in the room selection process.  These residents must turn in a Graduate/Dix Housing by Monday, April 14, 2008. Unfortunately we can not allow Graduate students to select either of the Beacon St. properties at this time.

Proxy Applications: Study Abroad, Internship, and Domestic Exchange Students, or absent

The Proxy Application is now available online for any study abroad, internship or domestic exchange program. Students who will not be on campus for the spring semester can then go through the room selection process. Please download the proxy application, fill it out, print and sign form. Then pick a proxy and have them sign the proxy form as well, and return the form to the Office of Residence Life. Your proxy will receive your lottery information to go through the room selection process for you.

Summer Housing

This year, our 2008 Summer Housing Application will be online!  Fill out an application at the below link and we will contact you the week of May 5th with your housing assignment for the summer.
