Elena Lander

Elena provides overall strategic direction and management expertise to the administrative systems support services of Simmons College. Before becoming the director, she was Associate Director of Administrative Computing at Simmons College and was responsible for Datatel software and personnel. In the Ukraine, she was an Associate Director of the Economics Department for the Transportation Research Institute. Elena received an MBA in Finance from the Odessa Institute of Economics and Finance, Ukraine.

Jacob Geluk

Jacob was recruited to Simmons College from Cariboo College in the southern interior of British Columbia.  He supports the Colleague database and the web interface, AARC. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Victoria from back in days when you had to "park" your hard drive.  He earned a Diploma in Computer Systems: Operations & Management at Thompson Rivers University in 1999.

Mary Kuhns

Mary provides programming support for administrative offices at Simmons College and, in addition, helps to maintain the integrity of the database. Mary received a BS in Mathematics from Ohio State University and an MS in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from SUNY at Buffalo. Prior to joining Simmons College as the Associate Director of Computing, she worked as a Senior Systems Programmer in clinical trials research at SUNY at Buffalo and at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Nikolay "Nik" Morgunov

Nik provides programming support for all offices at Simmons College and, in addition, helps to maintain the integrity of the database. He received an MA in Education in  Physics and Math from the Berdyansk Pedagogical University in the Ukraine.  His first job in the U.S. was for SystemSoft as a Programmer. Prior to working at Simmons, he worked as a computer consultant for the YMCA of Greater Boston and as a lecturer of Computer Science at Newbury College.   If you want to learn more about playing badminton, Nik would be happy to assist you.

Ben Fishman

Ben provides technical and administrative support to the Administrative Systems department. He earned his BA in Government from Clark University. Prior to working at Simmons, Ben worked for six years at JSI (John Snow, Inc): five years as a Software Trainer/Technical Support Analyst for JSI FundRaising Systems on the Paradigm database system and one year as a Systems Administrator for the parent company, JSI. Before working at JSI, he worked as a Development Associate for PHR (Physicians for Human Rights), where he spent two years learning the nuts and bolts of fundraising.
