Media Services supports teaching and learning in the classroom, including the instructor's computer workstation, and audio-visual hardware and software. We deliver mobile technology throughout Simmons, particularly for classrooms and events. For faculty, staff, and students, we manage a circulating collection of audio, video, and photography equipment (e.g. digital cameras and voice recorders, mini-DV camcorders, 35mm cameras, and hard drives). We operate the Simmons Cable TV system, which includes the campus announcements appearing on monitors posted around campus (MDS), and maintain the College's a/v infrastructure.

Technology Media Services' primary service areas are:

• Supporting the Simmons community and others using AV equipment in classrooms, study rooms, and event spaces, for academic and non-academic purposes.
• Maintaining and supporting the AV infrastructure, including planning.
• Loaning laptops and audio/visual equipment to faculty, staff, and students.
