Recent Events:
JumpStart (May 24-25, 2004)
The theme for this year's two-day JumpStart event is "Community and Diversity." The keynote speech by award-winning authors Rena Palloff and Keith Pratt is "Supporting Learning Communities Online."
New England ePortfolio Summit (June 2, 2004)
Higher education institutions are increasingly turning to ePortfolios. Their use is varied and wide-ranging: from large-scale, aggregate assessment to one-on-one collaboration between students and faculty. Given this context, the time is right for a regional gathering in which interested parties coalesce and plan for the future.
Guiding questions for the event include:
- What have we learned so far about ePortfolios (through experience, serendipity, careful planning, etc.)?
- Where are we now? What can we learn by sharing our current use scenarios?
- Where are we going? What are the opportunities for strategic planning, collaboration, resource sharing, etc.?
