SSW:"AIDS Action," a virtual case study developed by Abbie Frost and Academic Technology for the School of Social Work, is used by students enrolled in a program evaluation course. The site makes it possible for students to "visit" the AIDS Action organization, hear what employees and a sample board member have to say, and read documents such as the institution's mission statement. The Virtual Case Study is designed to help students gain a level of insight similar to what they would have gained through speaking to agency staff directly.

CAS: "Conscience and Consumption: The Tao of Shoe," an online learning community that is being developed by CAS faculty members Richard Gurney and Sue Stafford in collaboration with Academic Technology. The Learning Community will focus on the intersection of the fields of green chemistry and environmental ethics.
