Braddlee, Ph.D. Director of Academic Technology braddlee@simmons.edu, x2665 Braddlee sets the overall direction and strategy for the PTRC. As Director of Academic Technology for Simmons College, he has more than 15 years of higher education experience with technology integration and support for teaching and learning. He holds a Ph.D. (Telecommunications/Semiotics) from Indiana University, Bloomington and a Masters (Radio-TV-Film/Art History) from The University of Texas at Austin. He served on the graduate faculty in the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he was also the first director of the University's New Media Center. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the NERCOMP (http://www.nercomp.org/) and chair of the organization's Annual Conference Committee. |

Gail Matthews-DeNatale, Ph.D. Associate Director of Academic Technology gmdenatale@simmons.edu, x2677 Gail works with faculty and administrators on strategic plans for teaching and learning with technology across the curriculum. She has a Ph.D. from Indiana University and ten years of experience developing, implementing, and assessing online educational projects. Previously, she was a faculty member at George Mason University's Institute for Educational Transformation, Projects Manager for Northeastern University's EdTech Center, and Learning and Technology Specialist for an online Masters in Science Education degree program developed in collaboration by TERC and Lesley University. Her interests include: culturally-responsive teaching, intercultural learning, qualitative research, and fostering learning communities online. |

Jason Gorman, Ed.M. Senior Instructional Designer jason.gorman@simmons.edu, x2734 Jason works with faculty and staff members to help refine and realize their online ambitions. He has a Masters in Instructional Design from UMass Boston and six years of professional experience both teaching and developing instructional materials for use in a variety of corporate, ESL, and higher education settings. Jason is interested in the use of stories and games for educational purposes. Prior to joining the Simmons team, he worked on online education initiatives at Boston University. |

Elizabeth Santiago, Ed.M. Senior Instructional Designer elizabeth.santiago@simmons.edu, x2627 Elizabeth works with faculty and staff to help conceptualize and refine instructional content in particular for online delivery. She has an Ed.M. from the Technology, Innovation, and Education program at Harvard University and a BFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College. Most recently, Elizabeth was at Babson College working with faculty to develop blended courses for Babson's Fast Track MBA program. Prior to that, she was at Houghton Mifflin in their College Division developing technology programs to accompany textbooks. She has also worked as an adult literacy educator at United South End Settlements in Boston and the Community Learning Center in Cambridge. She is interested in assessment and evaluation, empowerment education, and the role technology can play in meeting the needs of those with learning differences and reading difficulties. |

Sean Wright, Ed.M., M.Sc. Instructional Technologist sean.wright@simmons.edu, x2735 Sean collaborates with the other members of the PTRC and faculty to build multimedia tools that enhance student learning. He developed his skills while working for the Center for Knowledge Communication at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has worked on projects for clients such as NASA, General Electric, and the National Science Foundation. He also spent five years teaching a multimedia production course at the University of Massachusetts. Sean received a BA in Computer Multimedia and Educational Technology and a Ed.M. in Math and Science Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst as well as a M.Sc. in Interactive Media from the University of Limerick. |

Kevin French Instructional Technologist for Blended Learning kevin.french@simmons.edu, x2783 Kevin supports faculty through training on eLearning and other technologies and development of multimedia tools. Before Simmons College, he was the Instructional Technology Specialist at Mount Ida College, responsible for its learning management system, training faculty and students on its use, and helping faculty incorporate technology into their materials and convert their courses for online instruction. He also previously served as the Associate Instructional Specialist at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, overseeing the Instructional Media Center of the Department of Communication Arts as well as producing multimedia materials for classroom use and serving as webmaster for the department. Kevin holds a BA in Communication Arts - Radio, Television, Film from the UW - Madison. |

Andrew (Drew) Mirque Learning Technologies Administrator mirque@simmons.edu, x2783 Drew supports faculty and staff in the use of all online learning technologies, including Vista Enterprise, a course management system that allows them to give and grade online quizzes, add video and links, conduct a live chat, post a syllabus, and create Web pages. Previously, he was the Online Learning Manager at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Nursing and was instrumental in the original development and ongoing maintenance of the various Nursing online learning programs and learning technology projects. Drew holds a BA in English from the Teacher Prep program at Manhattan College, NY. |

Jamie Traynor Production Specialist jamie.traynor@simmons.edu, x2761 Jamie helps faculty make effective use of video for teaching and learning. She worked at Brookline Access Television for five years, covering a variety of jobs: Production Manager, Studio Production Manager, Master Control/Live Studio Manager and Interim Executive Director. She also spent a summer freelancing for AT&T Broadband as Production Assistant on commercial shoots. She joined Simmons College in 2001 as Media Specialist at the School of Management and was promoted to Production Specialist in 2002. Jamie has an MA from Emerson College. |

Angelique Previte Production Assistant previte@simmons.edu, x2730 Angelique has been working in Academic Technology since 2005 and was hired last year as a full-time employee. She assists with web based learning through the Simons eLearning system as well as assisting the Production Specialist with various production projects. Angelique works with faculty, staff and students in the PTRC Production Lab. She also works with Instructional Designers and Instructional Technologists to implement Academic Technology projects, and document the use of technology for academic purposes. |

Joseph Gargano Technical Administrative Assistant ptrc@simmons.edu, x2736 Joe is the technical administrative assistant for academic technology. He is responsible for room scheduling, registration and record keeping for PTRC workshops, and provides administrative support for the PTRC staff. Joe also administers the ElementK online learning resource. Prior to coming to Simmons, Joe worked in the registrar's office at Wheelock College. He is currently working on his BA at Bridgewater State College. | |

Bella Graffam Training and Development Manager bella.graffam@simmons.edu, x2734 Bella, as Training and Development Manager, oversees the technology training services offered by the PTRC and works with faculty and staff on technology integration projects. Prior to joining Simmons, Bella served as Site Leader and Learning Director at Year Up, a Boston-based non-profit that provides technology training, professional and communications skills development and corporate apprenticeships to urban young adults. Previously, she worked in the corporate training industry as a Senior Web Technologies Instructor/Team Leader and as a freelance web developer. Bella is passionate about teaching and helping others build the skills they need to be successful in their work. She earned her BA in Communications and Political Science from Webster University in St. Louis, MO. |
